Ti Bonder is specially formulated to be used for applying over Titanium frameworks and Zirconia. The Ti Bonder considerably reduces the oxide formation during firing and improves the bonding when other materials such as ceramic or composites are added. It can be used in combination with Ti Opaque Mask Paste and Ceramic Spheres to create a rougher surface for improved mechanical retention.
Dispense the desired amount of Ti Bonder and use Bonder Liquid to wet the brush for application and dispense a drop of Bonder Liquid if necessary to dilute the Ti Bonder. Apply one thin coat and fire according to Table 1. Let it cool down to room temperature before the next step.
Use Bonder Liquid to wet the brush for application and dispense the Ti Opaque Mask Paste and paint on a thin coat over the surface already covered by the Ti Bonder. Add Spheres if desired and fire according to Table 2.
